What was the highlight of Hotel Capri

Good

Good location easy to walk into the centre, the hotel is furnished really nicely but it just seemed to lack a bit of atmosphere. I think the bar was open but it didn't really sell itself to want to go and have a drink there, perhaps play some chill music in the background just to give a bit of atmosphere

Good

The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, decent breakfast included, a few minutes walk from the center of everything.

The window of the room is right above a road that was extremely loud all through the night. We closed the window and had to turn on the a/c which was unbelievably loud! The next morning we told Teresa from the front desk and all she had to say was "ahh yes it's loud"?!?! Cold omelet at breakfast.

There little or no choice in the breakfast, especially for vegetarian and vegans!

Very Good

The staff were excellent couldn't do more to help you.

Shower over bath which was very dangerous actually slipped getting out of the shower hurting my ribs and picking up a few bruises. You couldn't have a bath because the stopper wasn't working

The location of this hotel was very good, easy walk to most of Sorrento. The breakfast was good with excellent service. Comfortable beds and good shower. Very helpful front desk team as well.

The room was smaller than expected. The swimming pool is more of a dipping pool and very cold. Had a bit of trouble with the air conditioner, but did get it resolved.

Lovely hotel base to explore the Amalfi coast

Good location Convenient to train station, restaurants, supermarket and laundromat. Nice swimming pool with pool bar and garden sitting area. Very nice breakfast room and staff. Great complimentary happy hour at the lobby bar enabled us to meet other guests.

Breakfast was excellent as was the service from all staff. Great pool area. Location was perfect for proximity to shopping and restaurants.

Pleasant hotel with a few drawbacks

Close to the railway station. Helpful staff. Reasonable breakfast. Short walk to restaurants.

Small shower stall with moveable wand which didnt stay in place. No ledge to put soap or gel and unable to put on floor as there wasn’t enough room to bend. Water didnt drain properly. The lino flooring felt as though it was lifting and made a noise when walked on. There was some traffic through the night (especially motor bikes)

`Lovely hotel close to town centre.

The rooms are refurbished and modern. Lovely breakfast selection. Staff were helpful and very friendly, especially Teresa. Beautifully decorated, very tasteful and nice atmosphere.

Water temperature was too cold and not adjustable. Wi-Fi was slow.

What was the highlight of Hotel Capri

Very Good

Hotel Capri is in a great location, 5 minutes walk from the Circumvesuviana station, 10 minutes from the old town with several good restaurants and bars nearby. Staff were friendly and really helpful. The breakfast was good with a good choice of hot food, freshly cooked on request, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, cakes and pastries. The pool was nice with comfortable loungers and deck chairs and you could find sun and a shady corner, when needed. La Cantinaccia del Popolo restaurant was only 5 minutes away and was as good as we had expected from other travellers reviews. They usually let people in at 6.45pm, but you really need to be there 40 minutes before to guarantee getting in for the first sitting

The aircon had a mind of its own and was almost impossible to set correctly. At night we had to turn it off on the main circuit breaker to ensure it did not come on, and sometimes it would not come on when we needed it. Very strange. The only other small complaint was the toaster at breakfast which was incredibly slow and difficult to use
